Phieng Chi grass hill (or Phieng Chi Grassland) is a pristine tourist destination, famous for its long stretches of green grass and floating sea of clouds, located in Phuc Loc commune. In the Dao language, "Phieng Chi" means "flat land on high ground", accurately describing the unique steppe terrain located between the mountains of the Northeast.
Seasons of beauty at Phieng Chi
- Green grass season (May - August): This is the most ideal time for outdoor activities. The steppe is covered with a lush, green carpet full of life. The climate on top of the hill is windy and cool, a perfect place to escape the heat of the city.
- Cloud hunting and burning grass season (September - November): When the north enters autumn, Phieng Chi begins to appear dense clouds of floating clouds in the early morning. The color of the grass gradually turns yellow, creating a quiet, wild scene. The weather at this time is cold at night and early in the morning, extremely suitable for building a campfire.
