Cat Tien National Park (covering over 71,000 hectares) is one of Vietnam's largest and most important nature reserves, often referred to as the "ecological jewel" of the South. Recognized as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2001, it is renowned for its pristine tropical rainforest ecosystem and is a World Biosphere Reserve and National Monument, making it particularly suitable for those who enjoy ecotourism, trekking, and exploring the wild natural world. Entrance fees start from 60,000 VND per adult and 20,000 VND per child. Accommodation in the central area ranges from 400,000 VND to 1,600,000 VND per night. Alternatively, visitors can rent camping space or stay in homestays and eco-resorts in the forest-side areas. Main Experiential Activities: - Trekking and Cycling: Explore forest trails, admire centuries-old Tung trees or the ancient Gõ tree. - Night Wildlife Tour: Experience riding in a specialized open-top vehicle to observe herbivores (deer, rabbits, etc.) foraging at night. - Visiting Bau Sau: Hike through the forest for about 14 km or cycle to reach the ecological wetland area. The ideal time to visit is during the dry season from November to May of the following year when the forest is dry, making it convenient for travel and exploring nature.
