Yen Tu Pagoda, considered the "ancestral land of Vietnamese Buddhism," is the birthplace of the Truc Lam Zen sect founded by Emperor Tran Nhan Tong. Located on a mountain peak 1,068 meters high, this complex is a magnificent blend of majestic natural scenery and long-standing spiritual and cultural values. You can hike up the mountain (approximately 6,000 meters) or use the modern cable car system to save energy and admire the mountain scenery from above. The ideal time to visit is spring (from January to March according to the lunar calendar), when the major festival takes place, attracting a large number of Buddhist pilgrims.
