Chieu Lau Thi (also known as Kieu Lieu Ti) is one of the highest and most majestic peaks in Northeast Vietnam, located on the Tay Con Linh mountain range. The peak is in Ho Thau commune, Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province. At approximately 2,402 meters above sea level, it is the second highest mountain in Ha Giang province, after Tay Con Linh peak.
From the viewpoint (about 400m - 1km from the summit), you will hike (trekking) along a small trail to reach the stainless steel spire at the summit, enjoying panoramic views. You can ride a motorbike to the viewpoint, but the path is quite treacherous with many steep sections. It's recommended to use a motorbike or a high-clearance vehicle and have excellent driving skills.
Ideal time to visit: The period from September to April is considered the best time for cloud hunting, when the weather is dry and the sea of clouds is dense.
